Dean joined the firm in 1964 as an associate and also as the
Assistant Kandiyohi County Attorney. Over the years, Dean's
practice has evolved to a concentration in real estate,
estate planning, probate, municipal and commercial law.
He has served as general counsel for the Willmar Housing and
Redevelopment Authority since1964 and now serves a large number of private and
corporate clients in the community as well as municipalities,
townships and non-profit corporations.
Dean graduated from St. Louis Park High School and
received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of
Minnesota. He acquired his Juris Doctor Degree from the
University of Minnesota Law School in 1964. Active in
the County, District and State Bar Associations, he has also
been deeply involved in civic affairs; including a term
on the Willmar Area Chamber of Commerce (one year as
president), President of the Optimist Club, Campaign
Director & Board Member of the local United Way, Charter
President of the Willmar Area Community Foundation, and
other community and church organizations.
Dean and his wife, Marge, having raised their three
daughters, make their home on George Lake. They are
active members of Hope Presbyterian Church in Spicer.
They enjoy travel, golfing and other outdoor activities.

Don joined the firm in 1972 after practicing with a St. Paul, Minnesota
firm. Don's practice experience is in the areas of Real Estate,
Probate, Estate Planning, Family Law, Civil and Commercial matters
as well as personal injury. As a Title Insurance Agent for
Attorney.s Title Guaranty Fund, Inc., Don is able to provide extensive
Real Estate services for his clients.
Don was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, and graduated
from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota High School. His undergraduate college education was received at the
University of Minnesota-Duluth, University of Minnesota-
Minneapolis, University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida,
and Moorhead State University where he graduated with
honors. His legal education was completed at the University
of Minnesota School of Law where he graduated with a Juris
Doctor Degree in 1971.
Don and his wife, Lynn, live near Spicer and have raised
six children which still keeps them very involved in family oriented
activities. Don has been active in his profession and
has served as a past President of the Kandiyohi County Bar
Association.
He also has been active in the community as past
President of the Willmar Optimists, a member of the Kiwanis,
Jaycees, has served on an advisory committee for the New
London-Spicer School System, the Board of Directors for
the Willmar Community Christian School and its Foundation
Board, Youth for Christ, Salvation Army, Carpenters Tools
International, and the Hope Pregnancy Center. He served as
a Director of a local banking institution for over 20 years.

Mike joined the firm in 2002 as an associate attorney. After
graduating from New London-Spicer High School, Mike
received a degree from Willmar Community College, graduated
Summa Cum Laude from Southwest State University, and
received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of
Minnesota Law School.
Mike adds to the firm's 65+ years of experience by
developing a strong general practice with an emphasis in
Real Estate Law, Contract Law, Business Law, Estate
Planning, and Personal Injury Law. He is also able to offer
his skills as a licensed Abstractor and is a Title Insurance
Agent for Attorney.s Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. Mike is a
member of Christian Legal Society and is involved as a
member of the Willmar Lake Rotary Club.
Continuing the firm's tradition of family and
community involvement, Mike lives in Willmar with his
wife, Sara, and their four sons and one daughter. He volunteers as a Sunday School
teacher, AWANA counselor, coach for the youth YMCA
football program and the Willmar Takedown Club youth
wrestling program, and he plays piano and guitar at his
church. Mike and his family spend much of their leisure
time enjoying the area lakes and other recreational
activities.
